Felixton College is set in the secure, leafy village of Felixton, 8 kilometres south of Empangeni on the Kwa Zulu Natal North Coast. The village is surrounded by an electric fence and has two security access points.

The village was originally developed to house employees from the Tongaat-Hulett Sugar Mill and Mondi Packaging (now known as Mpact). More recently, the village has been privatised as part of Umhlatuze and the Felixton Village is fast becoming one of the most sought after areas in which to live.

The Village boasts very pleasant walking, running and cycling routes and an 18-hole par 3 golf course with a country club facility.

There is also a municipal library at the entrance to the village.
