At the Felixton College Junior School, we believe in creating an exciting and caring environment where children have the opportunity to safely explore and develop to their own unique potential.

Our committed teachers create a variety of learning opportunities that assist each pupil in developing self-confidence in all areas - be it on the sportsfield, in the classroom, or in the cultural arena.

We recognise that children learn in different ways and have different needs.  We acknowledge this and provide the tools necessary in order for our pupils to reach their full potential.

In doing so, we believe that each child will have an opportunity to thrive, develop and grow into fully functioning, confident individuals ready to take their place in a global society in the 21st century.

JUNIOR PRIMARY/FOUNDATION PHASE

The Foundation Phase is built on the premise that each child is important.  The family ethos that epitomises the entire college is ever present in the Junior Primary classrooms.

Holistic learning is encouraged and music, pottery, sport and academics all form part of our dynamic curriculum.

The schools' HONOUR code is upheld and our children are taught the importance of self-discipline and group co-operation.

"Busyness" abounds in the Junior Primary campus and a full, well-designed programme sees our little Felixtonians blossoming to become meaningful contributors to the College at large.
