Dear Parents
I hereby extend a heartfelt greeting and welcome to all our families. As the first week of school for 2025 ends, I take this opportunity to wish everybody a happy and successful year ahead.
The excitement on campus across Grades 1 through 12 has been wonderful to see. The academic and culture timetables are in full flow, the sport practices have commenced, and we have already enjoyed a number of formal events and gatherings such as staff meetings, Grade 8 Orientation, Junior School and High School assemblies, and Junior School ‘meet the teacher’ meetings. The parents at Roots will have the opportunity to meet with their children’s respective teachers on Monday 20 January and Tuesday 21 January.
I look forward to connecting with parents at our sports fixtures this term, as well as at the Big Red Picnic on Friday 31 January.

GRADE 12 IEB NSC RESULTS – CLASS OF 2024
I am absolutely thrilled with the results produced by our Matric Class of 2024. These young men and women emerge from school as well-rounded youngsters who have worked towards achievements not only reflected in the classroom, but also on the sports fields, in various forms of Culture, and in projects that involve service to communities. They have done themselves, their parents, and their school, exceptionally proud and I wish them well as they venture out into a society where I am certain they will make positive contributions.
