Dear Parents
Grade 3 STEM Lab evening
We enjoyed a wonderful time last night with the Grade 3 pupils, parents and a specialist crew of Junior School teachers, engaging with each other to experience a little bit of what goes on in the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
I thoroughly enjoyed observing the excitement and unbridled joy being unleashed, by parents and pupils (and some teachers), when the rockets (constructed under the guidance of the teachers) were launched into the air in the quad.
There were also some interesting planet names that came to the fore when parents and pupils were in the computer lab to enjoy a few educational apps and games.
Grade 8 camp
By all accounts, the Grade 8 cohort enjoyed their camp at The Farm at the beginning of this week.
I received excellent reports from the facilitators who sang the praises of our pupils, describing them as a “very respectful, fun-loving, enthusiastic bunch of Grades 8s”.
We look forward to the Grade 8 Bell Ringing Ceremony on Friday 1 March.
In closing
I wish all those who are competing in the various sport activities this weekend, all the best. Play well; try your best; have fun.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Kind regards
